Oasis Terms & Conditions All Guests and Bookers agrees to the following terms and conditions of Oasis Brisbane.
Agreement Definitions
- ‘The Website’ refers to Oasis Cruising website www.oasiscruising.com.au
- The Booker or Guest is the client who is paying and/or who’s name appears on ticket and/or guest list.
- The Event is for the scheduled event on Oasis and includes Oasis in House Events, Oasis Promoter Events and Private Vessel Hire Events, for which the Booker or Guest has booked for.
- The Booking Group means all passengers/guests taking part in the event and/or Private Vessel Hire.
- Booking Schedule or event schedule is the time and place of the event detailed in the confirmation email sent to the booker and/or guest. The booking schedule confirms the date, time and place of boarding and disembarking along with contact details for your event, private vessel hire, or venue hire agreement.
- ‘Ticketing Channels’ refers to platforms used to purchase tickets and relates to the following platforms, www.oasiscruising.com.au, Eventbrite, Oasis bookings team, Promoter ticketing platforms or guestlists.
- Master means the qualified person in charge of Oasis. An agreement is created between the Booker and/or Guest and Oasis when the Booker completes a booking via ticketing channels. By completing the booking, the booker and guests associated with the booker has acknowledged all the following terms and conditions.
Payment
- All ticketed events are non-refundable, they may be transferrable by arrangement or valid for store credit by prior arrangement.
- Payments are made via the payment options via the booking channel associated to the event and is confirmed by email.
- Costs for any damages caused by anyone within the Booking Group will be paid by the Booker.
Promotions and Coupons
- Promotions and coupons are issued according to the terms of promotional use and are not redeemable for any monetary value.
- Awareness of a promotion, or possession of a promotional device or coupon without application via the intended use to purchase a product through Oasis ticketing channels holds no monetary value to the holder and no service obligation to Oasis.
- Oasis may limit or terminate any promotion or coupon at any time at its own discretion.
Photography
- All guests/patrons are aware Oasis has photographers and videographers onboard our cruise events and consent to their image being taken by an Oasis Photographer/Videographer.
- Content may be shared across our marketing platforms including, but not limited to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), Website and Print Assets.

Tickets
- Ticket’s will be emailed to the email address specified 2-3 days prior to the event either as an electronic PDF attachment or link. Upon boarding you must present ticket to Oasis staff to gain entry.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email after payment has been processed, the transaction did not complete correctly. You will be able to log into your Eventbrite account to check valid upcoming tickets. Should your account not show any current upcoming tickets, and no transaction has shown on bank statement, you will need to complete the ticket purchase process again.
- Any tickets purchased in excess of the event ticket/transaction limit may be cancelled at the discretion of Oasis, Eventbrite or the Event Promoter.
- It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for unauthorised resale, on 3rd party websites such as eBay or Gumtree. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the ticket bearer may be refused admission.
Right of Refusal
- Boarding & Entry: The Oasis Team and Security Team have full authority to deny any patrons entry to board the venue. Oasis grants our management and security teams full discretion to refuse entry to guests should they deem the guest/s do not comply with our policies. This can include, however not limited to, inappropriate behaviour/language, intoxicated, dress code, tattoos, health & safety and anything else they feel does not meet our policies and standards. Guest are not permitted to bring onboard any foods or liquids. Our security team conduct bag searches prior to boarding. Oasis reserves the right to make changes to these policies without notice and the decision is final.
- Dress Code: Oasis is a premium venue, and we kindly ask all guests to dress accordingly. We ask all guests to check the weather conditions and dress appropriately. Failure to comply with Oasis Dress Code may result in refused entry.
Appropriate Footwear: All men must wear enclosed shoes. Women are welcome to wear open-toed heels/wedges and or enclosed shoes/ballet flats (Flip Flops, Slides or sandals such as Birkenstocks are not permitted). Please be mindful when selecting your footwear that there are stairs onboard the vessel.
Inappropriate/Offensive Clothing & Sports Attire: We do not permit casual clothing such as muscle tees, sports singlets and shorts or any attire with inappropriate or offensive slogans. Torn clothing is also not allowed unless designed in a fashionable or distressed manner.
Shorts Policy: While we understand Queensland can go through hot weather events, we ask that shorts are smart and not of a casual description. Stubby/Sports Shorts, Board Shorts or Tracksuit Pants are not permitted.
Tattoo Policy: Whilst tattoos are fashionable and a personal expression, we do not allow aggressive or offensive tattoos, especially those visible above the collar. This includes tattoos with inappropriate imagery or language.
Beach Wear: Please be advised beachwear is not permitted.
- ID Requirements: Oasis is an 18+ venue, you must provide a valid form of ID upon boarding the venue. Photos or copies of your ID will not be accepted. Acceptable IDs include: A current Australian Drivers Licence, An Australian or Foreign Passport or an 18+ Card.
- Anti-Violence Policy: Oasis has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to any aggressive behaviour, harassment or misconduct. Anyone who engages in fighting, harassment of any kind or other destructive behaviour will be escorted off the boat by our security team and issued a minimum 1-year ban from our venues. Oasis’s priority is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all patrons, guests and staff. If you observe or have experienced any behaviour that risks your safety, the safety of others or goes against our policy, please advise your closest member of staff or security. Depending on the nature we may ask you to complete an incident report should you feel comfortable to do so.
Event Cancellation & Changes Oasis can cancel and reschedule events due to weather conditions, safety, vessel maintenance or any other reason at our discretion. In the unlikely event of cancellation, Oasis reserves the right to substitute a suitable alternative vessel or an alternative date suitable to both parties. Whilst Oasis is designed with a fully retractable roof to become an enclosed venue in wet weather events, our priority is our guests and staff safety. Oasis reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artist/s and/or vary advertised prices, event times and inclusions without notice. Oasis reserves the right of admission and to enforce the venue entry conditions set by the venue.
Responsible Service of Alcohol Oasis operates under the Responsible Service of Alcohol Act and as such reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests. Should our staff deem you to be intoxicated they will administer the appropriate first aid measures. In extreme cases you may be escorted off the boat with a friend to ensure your safety and the safety to others.
Vessel Course The Booker agrees the Master always has sole discretion to take necessary action to protect and maintain the safety, welfare and good order of the vessel, guests and staff in accordance to the direction of Maritime Safety Queensland authorities. This may result in the cruise course being changed.
Weather Conditions Oasis is designed to become a fully enclosed vessel in the event of wet weather. The Booker agrees that all cruises will proceed regardless of weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe by the Master on the day of the event. Should the Master deem it to be unsafe to proceed with the cruise, all guests will be notified via SMS, Email and/or Social Media channels. It is the Booker and guests’ responsibility to keep up to date with any cruise cancellations.
Smoking Oasis has a designated smoking area located on our Middle Deck. We ask that all guests protect our environment, vessel/property and dispose of litter in the bins provided.
Safety All guests agree to listen to safety briefing and make themselves familiar with safety procedures prior to the cruise commencing. Please act responsibly onboard whilst being mindful of other guests and Oasis property including vessel. Guests agree to comply with all directions given by Master, Crew and Security. Oasis is equipped with a defibrillator which is located in the Wheelhouse. The location is included in all Staff & Security Inductions, Staff & Security Training and Cruise Safety Briefings. It is also highlighted on vessel evacuation diagrams located on each level. First Aid kits are located on each level with an additional two in the vessel wheelhouse and are audited monthly. Oasis is equipped with a defibrillator which is located within the vessel wheelhouse. Each cruise has a first aid officer on duty, along with all security staff first aid qualified. Oasis levels are subject to capacity restrictions, depending on our position on the river you may have to move throughout the vessel.
Limited Liability It is a condition of booking the liability of Oasis, it’s servants, agents, employees and subcontractors is agreed to be limited in accordance with the Limitations of Liabilities and Maritime Claims Act 1989 (Cth_ and that any claim for loss or damage must be notified in writing within 7 days from the day of the Charter and any court action, suit or proceeding must be brought with 365 days of the Charter date.
Indemnity The booker agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Oasis, their agents, employees and subcontractors, from and against any and all losses, claims, actions, costs, expenses, fees, damages, fines and liabilities (including reasonable legal fees) caused by any negligent act or omission by the Booker or members of the Booking Group including:
- Failure to follow any reasonable direction given by the Master, crew or security.
- Failure to comply with any of Oasis terms and conditions.
- Failure to comply with any warning signs.
- Unreasonable or unsafe behaviour.
- Wilful misuse of the equipment or facilities of the vessel.
- Intoxication or use of prohibited drugs.
Risk The booker agrees there are inherent risks and dangers onboard any Vessel. All bookers, guests and/or passengers participate in the event at their own risk. Oasis is not responsible for personal possessions and will not be liable should any guest’s property go missing. Any property left onboard is collected and stored at our headquarters lost and found for 14 days where you can arrange collection or pay for postage should you be unable to collect in person. After 14 days, lost property is donated to those in need or handed into local police station depending on the item. Jurisdiction The laws of Queensland govern this agreement, and all parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Queensland in respect of any disputes arising between them.
Acceptance By completing the ticketing channels, the booker and their guests agrees to be bound to these Terms and Conditions. The Booker acknowledges that he or she has read and understood these Terms and Conditions and has or will convey these conditions to the Booking Group.
